AYARHEP programs are designed from research and needs assessment. The interventions and mitigation efforts are tailored to alleviate suffering of adolescent and young people living with HIV. The organization nurtures new model of leadership, among adolescent and young people.

The organization programs are adolescent and youth friendly designed to promote sexual reproductive health and rights of the target group age 12- 24 yrs., promotes, and encourages entrepreneurship among the target group to enable them initiate income generating activities

The organization further advocate for enabling environment, gather SRHR evidence to HIV programing through advocating on issues affecting AYPLHIV. The organization mentors SRHR champions through capacity building, engages religious leaders, local administration and community through a Multi Component approach.

The programs address issues Young people living with HIV face, such as pervasive stigma and discrimination, dealing with life-long antiretroviral treatment (ART).The organization  adopts  Participatory learning and action (PLA) that provides  for a practical session by enabling the AYPLHIV to learn and work together in a support group through peer to peer methodology.

Forward Project

AIDSfond funds the project with the goal to support Adolescents and young people living with HIV aged 10-24, in all their diversity, are able to practice self-care and fulfil their SRHR and HIV needs, in a supportive and respectful environment.

At individual level, the project aims to Empowerment of youth advocates to claim their rights & youth leadership, at community level the project aims at reducing stigma and tackling gender inequality as a root cause of the HIV epidemic disproportionately affecting adolescent girls and young women.

At service level , improve (Access) to quality self-care service delivery, including community-based services, at National level  Lobby and advocacy at community, district and national level and at organization level support to strength YPLHIV-led national network.

You(th) Care  Project

Youth Care is an exceptionally well-qualified consortium to advance the Call’s global objective of achieving universal coverage of SRHR of adolescents in the East and Southern Africa (ESA) region.

We will enable youth (aged 10-19), especially girls and other vulnerable adolescents, in eSwatini, Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia to advocate for and practice self-care for their SRHR needs and to increase access to (digital) self-care services and commodities.

Louise Fond Fund

The project is coordinated by Aidsfond and lead by former Executive Director  Louise Van Deth’s who is the patron of the  fund drive for well-wishers to support AYARHEP  reach out to adolescent and girls living with HIV .

The program strengthen on existing GUSO and PITCH project through support of capacity strengthen programs for religious leaders , local administration  in enhancing enabling environment for adolescent and young people living with HIV .

The program started on 2019 and its on-ongoing thanks to well-wishers from Netherland supporting   the Louise fond fund project. The fund is managed by the AYARHEP youth advisory council and so far it currently supporting stipends for peer educators , supporting 20 females religious leaders program and sports outreach programs.
